Southwick Zoo

Hands down this was the BEST Zoo I have ever been to!!  It was funny, because we met some people from CA who said the same thing!  Someone else, kind of eavesdropping, said "I heard San Diego Zoo was supposed to be really good" ....well San Diego is a great zoo ....but the other couple and us definitely think Southwick has it beat :)

So Kris, his mom and I decided to take Nick to the Zoo!  It was not crowded and he had a blast!  This Zoo has a ton of animals, train, rides galore, Deer Park, Camel and Elephants you can ride, tons of animals you can feed, etc.  We will be going there as much as we can!  Very kid friendly for Nick's age!

Fathers Day 2012

Nick sure is one LUCKY kid ....he has the GREATEST DAD!!  So we spoiled Daddy like crazy to let him know how much we LOVE him for all that he does for us!!  Nick gave him some gift cards, a fishing license (I can't wait for them to go fishing together!!), clothes, a new Bruins hat with all the Stanley Cups they've won, a mug, and some other things Kris wanted.  We made Daddy breakfast in the morning and then headed over to Kris' dads house and had a fun filled day of swimming, hanging with the cousins, and BBQing!!!  The day could not have been more perfect!! :)

I missed MY Dad of course, but was glad I was able to spend time with him the beginning of June!  I really have the most AMAZING Dad!  I have never met anyone like him.  It makes me happy knowing Nick will feel the same way about his Daddy ...because Kris is nothing short of an AMAZING DAD!!!

Pool/Spa

So our last night in CA was spent hanging out in the pool/spa!  We went over to Rebecca and Angies Dads house in Huntington Harbor and hung out for a bit at the pool/spa and then after just hung out at Dads house reminiscing mostly of our 20s and all the crazy things Rebecca and I used to do lol  A perfect evening, just relaxing from the hectic week Nick and I had.  Going home is NEVER a vacation!  So many people to see, NEVER enough time, and this trip we crammed in ALOT of places so my parents could enjoy doing things with Nick.

I just love this pool/spa!  Its all salt water which means NO chlorine!!  So much better for our little men!  Thanks for the BEST evening Angie and Rebecca! 

Downtown Disney

There was NO way I could take Nick to Disneyland without Kris being there for his 1st time!  Although Kris said I could if I wanted to, I couldn't go without him :)  So my parents and I decided we would just go walk around Downtown Disney!  It was a blast!  We did some shopping and spoiled Nick of course!  Then went to Rainforest Cafe to eat!  So much FUN!  Nick loved all the animals!
