I can't even explain how looooong it took me to get ANY photos!!!  This kid is on the go....and not stopping anytime soon!!  He got the hat just so I could keep him occupied long enough to get these! haha  It was either get the hat or keep eating his cars.....

So what is Nick up to at 9 months?!

• He is on the GO and not looking back hahaha
• VERY cuddly....he snuggles up to Mommy and Daddy and we LOVE it
• still taking steps on his own....but I wouldn't call him a "walker" just yet
• he loves chasing the cats lol
• has his own language and laughs at us when we try to talk like him
• has the CUTEST laugh I have ever heard

So yeah....he's pretty much EVERYWHERE.....and Mommy and Daddy are just exhautsted lol .. But LOVING every minute with our little guy

Back to the Pumpkin Patch....

Nick is the luckiest kid for sure!!!!  Who else goes to THREE pumpkin patches their 1st year!  =)  I guess its a good thing for me cuz he has sooo many Halloween outfits!!  And Halloween is one of Kris' favorite holidays!

So we went to this one with Kris' Dad and Betty last weekend!!!  Nick had a blast as always....here are a few pics!

Sauchuk Farm

Nick had a whole weekend full of Pumpkins =)  What a LUCKY boy!!!

Sauchuk Farm was seriously the coolest place ever!!  Sooo many things to do, especially for kids!  Face painting, giant jumping pillows, hay rides that took you to pick your own pumpkin (right off the vine!), corn cannons, corn box, duck races, spider webs to climb on,  cow trains and corn mazes....to name a few =)   Unfortunately Nick was too young this year to partake in most of them....but I am already looking forward to next year when he can do more!  My favorite thing about it was the corn maze!!  I had never been in one before!  They had a larger one for adults and a smaller one for kids.  It also had a game inside of the maze (you had to look for certain things and punch them on your "mazeopoly" board!)

I am happy to say we started a new family tradition this year.....we will be doing a corn maze every fall!!  I cannot wait for next year!!   =)

I cannot believe Kris and I have been together now for SEVEN years!!!  Time sure flies when you're having fun =)   I love him more today than ever!  He is the most amazing husband, father and best friend!!

We took Nick to his 1st Pumpkin Patch today!!!  Soooo much fun!!  He loved everything about it....so much that it was hard to get him to focus on us at all to get a few pics!! lol   I did manage to get quite a few though :)   So here are just a couple.....enjoy!

I never in a million years would have thought I would LOVE being a Mom as much as I do!  Its seriously the BEST thing ever!  Obviously I knew it would be amazing and I would LOVE my kids.....but its better than I could have ever imagined and sooo much better than anyone could ever describe =)  I can't wait for a brother/sister for my little guy.....but don't get too excited haha.....I am enjoying every second with this little one for now! (and trust me, Nick is so active he definitely has Kris and I on our toes at ALL times!)

Pumpkin Head

I'm SOOOO excited to take Nick to the pumpkin patch this weekend!!  The thing I love most about living out on the East Coast is the Fall season!  Growing up in CA.....well you just don't get one haha  It is taking much longer to arrive here this year (its still in the high 80s) but I'm hoping it comes soon!! 

The First TWO Steps...

It is amazing how fast this year has been going by!! I feel like I just brought home my newborn boy! My sweet perfect little Nicholas. So small and cuddly. I remember the lack of sleep and newness of motherhood and hoping I was doing everything I should be.

Well I must have been doing something right.......because my sweet cuddly boy is now so active and full of life!!  He is now 8 months and crawling, climbing, standing (on his own!) and last night decided he wanted to take his first TWO steps on his own!!  I couldn't be more proud of my little guy =)  Although he keeps me on my toes, I wouldn't change one second I have with him!  Well......maybe I would have liked him to start the walking process a little later.....haha  But what can I say, I have one smart determined little boy! =)

Growing Up.....

Eight Months

Nick sure is one ACTIVE kid!!!  And has sooo much personality!!! 

At 8 Months:

• He is into EVERYTHING!!!!  And I mean everything!! lol  He is always on the go!
• He has his FIRST tooth =)
• Says Mama AND Dada....but still prefers Mama more =)
• Loves his food!  He now feeds himself some finger foods too!
• Still loves his walks with Mommy....and he is still my favorite shopping partner =)
• Gives hugs and kisses!
• Loves to stand...and can stand unassisted until he gets distracted lol
• Loves to bounce!  He will sit on the floor and start bouncing lol
• He is a climber!!!  We had to lower his crib TWICE as he was ready to escape!!  He climbs on EVERYTHING!!  This child fears nothing.....I am in trouble!
• Has been walking with assistance since last month!!  He pulls himself right up and walks around!  I'm so proud of him....yet was hoping the walking would start a little bit later....7 months and trying to walk....I wouldn't be surprised if he walks by the end of this month!!  He is already attempting steps unassisted!
• Has the absolute cutest giggle I have ever heard!!!  We just love making him laugh and oh boy is he ticklish!!
• Naps like a champ!  Still sleeps through the night =)
• LOVES his cats!  haha  He crawls after them and pulls on their tails...needless to say, he loves them...but I do not think that love is mutual! haha
• He loves hanging out with his Daddy! 
• He is a talker!!
• Knows what he wants.....give him two choices and he will choose the one he wants...so cute!
• Carseat has become a challenge....he has outgrown his infant seat (and by outgrown I mean he wants to sit up straight)  He is so small though that I haven't wanted to switch him just yet...soon though!

And he gets VERY excited when he knows something is for him!!! This kid LOVES presents lol He got this the other day and his face lit up when he saw the box!  He of course had to help Daddy put it together =)
