Five Months

I can't belive Nick is already 5 months old!!!  He is such an ACTIVE kid!!  Almost crawling....and only wants to stand and sit!  Laying down is NOT an option lol  Just trying to get these pics of him has now become quite the task!!  (see below)  He is interested in EVERYTHING!   But I am LOVING every second with this little boy!!  Weekend mornings are my FAVORITE!  Kris is home with us and Nick just LOVES it!  I have to say, I was very sad to see the newborn stage end.....but I am loving how fun he is now!

Kris and I before the game started!



Yesterday Kris and I went to our first Red Sox game this season!  We got some SWEET seats for FREE thanks to his boss!!  It was so much fun!!  I forgot how insane the streets get before the games!  They now close them off on game days so only ticket holders can be downtown (which is new....but why would anyone want to go hang around there on game day anyway!)  There are no fans like Boston fans thats for sure!  This was by far my dream game!  Not only did I get to see my two favorite pitchers pitch (Beckett and Papelbon) we got to see almost ALL of their pitchers and both catchers! haha  The game ended up going 14 innings!!!  Of course, THEY WON!!  We seriously could not have seen a better game!  So much entertainment between the players getting thrown out and the crazy lady behind us!!  I just can't wait til Nick gets older so he can enjoy the game as much as we do!!

4 Month Checkup!

So today was Nick's 4 month checkup!  He is now in the 8th percentile for weight and 16th percentile for height!  I was VERY worried that he is still so little.....but the Dr reassured me that everything is fine!  Breastfed babies are usually on the smaller side and since he has always been on the smaller side, he is growing just as he should!!  She looked at me and laughed (cuz she could see I was worried) and said "Hey at least he isn't OVERweight...or we'd have to be talking diet plans!" haha  That made me feel better!  He is exceptionally strong for his age (and for being a shrimp!) and just gets cuter by the day!  He was a champ with his shots and I couldn't be more proud of my little guy!  It also looks like we might have an early teether!!  This little guy is so much more advanced than he should be at his age!  I have a feeling he will keep me on my toes =)  So the outcome of this appt...he is PERFECT!!  (well, DUH!)

This child AMAZES me more and more everyday!!!  We are having the BEST time together =)

Here are a few things he is LOVING at 4 months:

• Rolling all over the place! 
• Laughing and smiling ALL the time
• loves to be sitting up and is trying VERY hard to sit up on his own =)
• standing!  Dr thinks I will have an early walker for sure!
• talking (baby talk of course!)
• still loves to be in the car (sooo thankful for that!)
• his jumper!
• and putting EVERYTHING in his mouth! haha

He is pretty much done with the swing now...and not so entertained with his activity mat!  He wants to be on the go!!  He sure is one active little guy!!
