My poor boy was sick last week :(
He had his FIRST cold ...and I did not like it one bit!!
My friend who is a Nurse Practitioner told me that towards the end of a cold, it is VERY common for kids to get ear infections. Nick did not seem uncomfortable at all nor had he been pulling on his ears or anything ...but I decided to take him to the Dr anyway just for a quick ear check. I was literally SHOCKED when she said "Yep - he has a mild ear infection in his left ear!" She said it was something that could go away on its own but since he was not quite 2 yet she thought it would be better to just treat it ...I agreed! The last thing my little man needs is for it to get worse :(

WooHoo he GREW!!! He had his biggest growth spurt since he was born! He grew an inch and a half since his last well check on 8/8/12!! He went from 14th percentile (he has never been more than 16th in height) to 34th percentile!!! His weight however, has him back in 2nd percentile. Which considering he was sick is not bad at all ...he is never above 3rd anyways!
So as soon as we left, he got his usual cheer up toy (I can't help but spoil him!) and some new pants!! We are finally now in 12 month jeans!! (great for length but still big on the waist lol)

This boy is soooo LOVED! His PopPop also got him something because he had not been feeling well :) And nothing better than more new CARS!! You wouldn't believe how many cars this kid has ..its insane lol
